The Hive team had an absolutely fantastic day at this year's Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners' Military Awards Luncheon! Hive couldn't have been prouder to serve as a headline sponsor for this wonderful event, where we celebrated and honoured the incredible efforts of our Royal Army Medical Corps, Cadets and other military personnel.
One of our own, MD Louis Beaumont, served as an ex-RAMC soldier many moons ago and expressed his delight at being able to support the WCEC in recognizing the amazing work done by our armed forces personnel. Often, the RAMC's contributions go unsung, and it's truly heartwarming to shed light on their exceptional efforts.
The day became even more special for Hive as our very own Chris Underhill was 'clothed in livery', becoming a Liveryman. This ceremonial tradition added an extra layer of significance to the event.
After the awards ceremony and a scrumptious lunch, complete with musical entertainment by the talented London Fanfare Consort, we had the privilege of listening to inspirational speeches by Brigadier Philip de Rouffignac and Alderman Michael Mainelli (the leading candidate for Lord Mayor). Their words resonated deeply with everyone present.
Throughout the day, we relished spending time with both old and new friends, leaving us feeling energised and full of wonderful memories. Now, we're back to work, carrying the positive impressions of this incredible day with us.
