As we have announced earlier, our reforestation and rewilding project started on 17 March in the picturesque Devon.
We are establishing a traditional broadleaf forest, which will remove Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere, improve the natural beauty of the surrounding area, enhance biodiversity, and restore habitat.
A team of staff members, friends, volunteers and the team from Steward Woodland and Land Management joined in the morning to start planting the first trees, mixing 6 different species and hedges, restoring an ancient hedgerow. We also mounted the sign for Hive Wood and planted our first mother oak. Here are some pictures from our tired but happy team.
